Things To Do Out West

Plenty of activities out her in SoCal. My friends at work have taken my out fishing in Mexico, Golf, Padre's Game, and I've switched to mountain biking. The kids are going to love it out here because they have so many things to do.

My cousin Liza and her husband Brian took me surfing for the first time in my life. They live in Manhattan Beach near Los Angeles. I was up on the board on my first shot. Take a look at me riding this wave.

Things only went down hill from that point.

Obviously, that wasn't me but as soon as I get the real pictures I will post them. (Thanks Brian and Liza!)

The New Pad

Here is a picture of our future home. It is located in Encinitas, CA. We are about 1-2 miles from the beach with plenty of shopping in walking distance for Denise. We are now in Escrow (for those of us on the right coast 'under contract').

The view from the back patio. The home needs some work. Nothing we can't fix.

Paint everywhere 6-15-08

Since we were making something special for daddy on Fathers day we decided to keep on going. The girls love craft time! Washable finger paints are the best , especially with my girls. Alyssa made approximately 7 pictures in the same time Isabel only made 1 1/2. First we used our fingers then we used the stamps. They tried to keep themselves clean by wearing their aprons but the areas that the aprons did not cover were covered by paint. After they cleaned up in the bathroom, my bathroom was as colorful as their pictures, from the walls to the sink &faucet and lets not forget the floor. Did I mention that I love craft time too?!

Sprinkler Fun 6-14-08

Well here we are again enjoying the waterworks. The heat just will not let up. This is the first time Alyssa really got wet with the Sprinkler, she loved it!(as you can see on her face) Isabel aways liked the sprinkler. I was watering the front lawn and the girls decided to get wet too. Afterwards we washed the car and cleaned out some outside flower pots and wagon to get them ready for the big move.

1987 Ford F150

Here is Johns work of art still in progress but looking really good. We just got it back from Macco for the second time, the first time was for 3 weeks and things were broken and not done completely. John will be the coolest kid in Cali with this Desert Runner. John and Alex need to do a little more work but once it is done John will be able to install his new stereo and speakers and enjoy his new ride.

Slip & Slidding June 2008

Here are the girls having a good time during our latest heat wave in NJ. Brother John set up the Slip & Slides end to end so they could run from one end and slide into the water at the other end. Alyssa is not much of a sprinkler girl but loves this. Isabel loves anything to do with water inside or outside. They played for 2 days long days on this slip & slide before a storm came and almost blew the slides away.

Hiking fun 6-7-08

The girls and I went hiking last Saturday in Jackson. Isabel found a Caterpillar as soon as we got there and played with it for at least 15 mins. before she lost it . We walked along the path looking at all kind of bugs and the different trees. Isabel loves bugs. Alyssa was looking at the fake ducks in the stream.
